Sara Khayat Art

As part of the Söderscen initiative in Helsingborg, we created new dresses for the city’s trees. The final pieces emerged from a series of four workshops over the span of a month, involving over a hundred children and adults from the local community. Using children’s drawings on small fabric pieces, we upcycled these artworks to craft two tree dresses. The designs symbolize Helsingborg’s sea and the imagined marine life envisioned by its residents.
